These Terms of Service govern use of the QSL Backup Google Drive integration operated by Quantum Shield Labs LLC.
1. Purpose and authorized use
QSL Backup is an internal infrastructure backup and disaster-recovery integration. Use is limited to QSL-controlled systems and accounts that have been intentionally authorized for that purpose.
2. Google authorization
Use of the integration requires authorization through Google's OAuth process. The account owner is responsible for ensuring that the connected Google account is authorized for the intended backup use and may revoke access at any time.
3. Security responsibilities
QSL will use reasonable administrative and technical controls to protect OAuth credentials, backup repository credentials, and the systems operating the integration. No online or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely free from interruption, loss, or compromise.
4. Availability and changes
The integration may be changed, suspended, reconfigured, or discontinued as infrastructure and recovery requirements evolve. We may also modify requested permissions when necessary, but material increases in Google data access will require renewed review and authorization.
5. Backup and restore limitations
Backups reduce risk but do not eliminate it. Recovery depends on the integrity of source systems, encryption credentials, repository availability, retention policy, and successful restore testing. QSL does not represent that any single backup destination is sufficient for every failure scenario.
6. Intellectual property
QSL retains ownership of the integration configuration, documentation, and related QSL materials. Google services and associated trademarks are owned by Google and governed by Google's applicable terms.
7. Disclaimer
QSL Backup is provided for QSL's internal operational use on an "as is" and "as available" basis, subject to applicable law. It is not offered as a public backup service or as a warranty against data loss.
